ADwin-Gold III: Versatile, fast, and precise

ADwin-Gold IIIADwin-Gold III provides you with a powerful compact real-time system.
The performance features of the basic version are:

  • 1 GHz processor clock speed with the T12 processor (XILINX ZYNQ), 1 GB RAM
  • Ethernet interface 1 Gbit/s
  • 16 analog inputs ± 10V, 2×18-bit ADC (MUX 5 µs)
  • 2 analog outputs, each with 16-bit DAC (3 µs)
  • 32 TTL digital channels, usable as inputs or outputs
    4 differential digital channels
  • Input for external event signals
  • Interface for serial LS bus, see HSM-24V module for 24-volt digital signals
  • Can be synchronized with other Gold III devices

The previous models ADwin-Gold II and ADwin-Gold I are still available.

When ordering, you can equip the basic version ADwin-Gold III with numerous additional options.

Ordering options Gold III

Gold III Provides 2 groups with 8 analog inputs each. Conversion is performed via ADC with 18-bit resolution.
With order option F, all channels can be recorded synchronously.

Analog inputs

  • 2 × 8 analog inputs with 18 Bit ADC
  • Capture up to 16 measured values synchronously
  • Conversion rate 1.25 µs for 2 channels, 5 µs for 16 channels
  • Adjustable amplification

  • Channel selection and signal conversion via 2 multiplexers
  • 1 measured value per conversion, 2 × 200 kHz

Analog output values are output via a DAC with 16-bit resolution. You can select the DA4 or DA8 options instead of the basic version.

All counter options can be combined with each other.
Each counter block in a counter order option contains one 32-bit forward/reverse counter and one PWM (pulse width modulation) counter. The counters in a block can be used independently of each other.

Choose between CAN high-speed and CAN low-speed. The RSxxx interface has the same functionality in both options.

An interface module can be connected to ADwin-Gold III. The interface modules can be exchanged, but cannot be used at the same time.

With the bootloader, Gold III can automatically execute a program after being switched on. This allows operation without a PC.
