Versatile, fast and precise

The robust, compact metal housing makes ADwin-Gold I particularly flexible in use, whether as a desktop device, for installation in a control cabinet, or with a notebook as a portable system. The 12 V power supply also makes it easy to perform measurements in motor vehicles.

The ADwin-Gold I system is connected to a PC or notebook via Ethernet.

The performance features of the basic version are:

  • CPU T9: SHARC DSP from Analog Devices, 32-bit, 256 kB DSP RAM, floating point arithmetic
  • Ethernet interface (10/100 Mbit/sec, TCP/IP) or
    USB for PC communication
  • 16 MB local memory
  • 16 analog inputs 14-bit 0.5 µs or 16-bit 5 µs
  • 2 analog outputs 16-bit
  • 32 digital inputs/outputs, configurable
  • Internal timer
  • Trigger input for external event signals
  • BNC sockets for analog channels, D-Sub sockets for digital channels

The successor models ADwin-Gold II and ADwin-Gold III offer even more performance.

Gold-CO1: Counters

  • 4 individually configurable 32-bit counters

The MEM-64 option replaces the memory of the standard version (16 MB local, 256 kB CPU).

  • 64 MB local memory
  • 512 kB CPU memory

With the bootloader, Gold I can automatically execute a program after being switched on. This allows operation without a PC.

  • Starts up to 10 processes after switching on
  • Operates independently of the PC
  • Can store up to 16,000 values in flash memory
