The ADwin functions can be used under Linux (kernel 2.4 or higher) in all programming languages that support the integration of dynamic libraries. Our ADwin drivers give you direct access to communication and data exchange with your ADwin system. Ethernet is available for connecting the ADwin hardware.
Linux offers a wide range of programming languages and development environments for developing user interfaces. Use the GNU Compiler Collection or toolkits such as Qt from Trolltech, Gimp, etc. ADwin supports the scripting languages PHP and Python. You can also run ADwin systems under Linux from LabVIEW. The platform-independent programming language Java communicates with ADwin via the Ethernet interface.
