ADwin systems with Ethernet interface are equipped with a web interface as standard. This is available to you as an additional tool for developing and commissioning your ADbasic software. The global parameters of the ADwin system as well as the current CPU and network utilization are displayed in your browser. It is also possible to manage the ADwin system settings, such as the IP address.
As an alternative to the standard web interface, a customer-specific application can be defined as the start page for the browser. By using the latest web technologies (Java, AJAX), the ADwin web interface can be used, for example, for complete test bench control including visualization. The ADwin driver does not need to be installed on the client computer for this purpose. Platform- and operating system-independent applications can be easily implemented, opening up new operating possibilities. Even from a PDA or mobile phone, the important parameters of a test bench controlled by ADwin can be monitored and, if necessary, changed.
All ADwin functions for data exchange and process management are available as web services for the development of customer-specific applications. Independent user interfaces can be conveniently created in many common development environments (Eclipse, NetBeans, Visual Studio, etc.) by directly addressing the web service.
