Faster development with ADtools

ADtools consists of standalone Windows programs that allow you to directly access the data, variables, and functions of ADwin systems. Each ADtools object can be conveniently parameterized and calibrated individually. ADtools is included free of charge in every ADwin software package.

ADtools supports you right from the start in programming your ADwin system. The intuitive graphical user interface makes project development much easier. You can save the displayed data in files, import it directly into Excel, print it out, or copy it to the clipboard in various graphic formats. You can save finished arrangements of the ADtools in a configuration file.

The diverse possibilities of ADtools:

Transfer ADwin operating system, load/start/stop real-time processes
Display ADwin system resources, process timing, process management
Display data records graphically as curves. Numerous functions: zoom, print, save, copy to clipboard, export data to Excel, select values with mouse
Enter individual values numerically and format their display
Display values in analog pointer instruments with colored value ranges
Monitor parameters and limit values with LED display (lights/flashing).
Enter values graphically with sliders and potentiometers.
Continuously save measured values from ADwin FIFOs. Options: binary or ASCII format, adjustable file size, automatic file numbering, defined file and column titles
Manage ADtools in projects, save settings in configuration file
Display individual values in binary and hexadecimal, set individual bits using “DIL switches”.
Display and enter strings for serial and bus communication.

The operating options of ADtools are well suited for visualizing simple measurement sequences. For more complex applications, you can create a complete user interface, e.g., with Delphi, Visual Studio .NET, or LabVIEW, DASYLab, MATLAB®, DIAdem, etc.
