The shortest possible response times for regulation, control, and measurement! The TiCo processor, which enables real-time processing in the nanosecond range, is also geared towards this focus of Jäger Messtechnik. The TiCo (Timing Controller), which is implemented in a Xilinx FPGA, expands the proven ADwin systems (with T11 or T12 processor) with I/O-close, extremely fast preprocessing.
The freely programmable TiCo processor is optimized to execute I/O accesses completely and jitter-free in just one clock cycle – whereby a clock cycle is only 10 nanoseconds long, and in the TiCo2 version even only 5 nanoseconds. This makes TiCo the ideal complement to the main processor of ADwin systems.
Due to its proximity to the hardware I/Os, the Tico is ideally suited for generating complex timing and trigger signals, simulating interfaces, control units, or sensors, or generating digital signal patterns.
Similar to the processors of the ADwin systems with ADbasic, the TiCo processor can be programmed quickly and conveniently with TiCoBasic.
TiCoBasic is easy to learn thanks to its simple, BASIC-like syntax. The modern development interface provides intuitive and professional support for both programming and further developing a process. The global variables of a running process are displayed in a separate window of the development interface and can be changed online.
The integrated compiler generates real-time binary files and loads them onto the TiCo processor. Program changes can be implemented easily and in a matter of seconds. This allows you to work quickly and realize your ideas with minimal effort.
